Every calculator works with no account at all. Here's what changes if you make one.
Using a calculator, no account
Paint, flooring, decking, mulch, gravel, wallpaper, fence, and BTU — every calculator runs in your browser. Your measurements never leave the page unless you create an account and save something.
If you create an account
An account is optional and only needed to save projects and calculations across visits. Signing up stores your email (via Supabase, our account provider) and, for anything you explicitly save, the calculator used, the inputs you entered, and the resulting buy-list summary. Passkey sign-in is supported as an alternative to a password. Deleting your account removes these rows.
Journeyman membership
The paid Journeyman tier is billed through Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly, and only tells us whether your subscription is active.
Advertising
PlankMath carries Google AdSense ads, hidden site-wide for signed-in Journeyman members. AdSense may set its own cookies and use them to select ads, governed by Google's policies.
